I’ve always loved reading! Ever since I was very young my grandma always introduced me to books and read with me. When I took my GED test I scored amazingly high on the reading and writing sections.
But anyways, my dad’s neighbor donated a book shelf to him that he didn’t want anymore and then he sanded, stained and glossed it. It looks really nice. He brought it over to me about a week ago and neatly enough, I had tons of books to put on it. I have a lot of children’s books that were mine that are probably 15-20 years old and also some of my daughter’s newer books that I left down low so she can get to them easily.
Me and my boyfriend also had a lot of books to put on it. I might start reading a lot more now. Most of these books were left at my dad’s house, so I’m glad he brought them to me!
Besides the bookshelf, my dad has also donated some other things recently. Somebody gave him some new furniture so he gave us two coffee tables, some other type of table and a lamp. It’s all pretty nice.
