Our New Fish Aquarium
I just added a beautiful new blueish/greenish Gourami and an algae eater to my aquarium. The Gourami is absolutely gorgeous and I could stare at the little dear all day. When I add fish, I mostly have the children in mind and what they would like to look at. My daughter and little baby boy both love to look at the aquarium.
I just got done thoroughly cleaning the tank last night and thought that since it has been up for so long and is doing so well that I’d add two new additions. Our tank looks so much livelier now. At times I wish I had a pet that I could interact with more such as a bird or kitty… cats and dogs are not allowed in this apartment complex though, only caged animals.
I had to leave my dog and cats with my dad.. It can get kind of lonely without a furry little critter to keep you company. One thing that I would love to accomplish sometime, would be to become a veterinarian. There are so many bad ones and my goal is to just make a difference. It would also be wonderful to start my own animal shelter as my pets have always been there in my time of need so why shouldn’t I be there for them in theirs? They never turn their back on you, they are one of the best friends you can have.
Animals have and always will be therapeutic and it cannot be denied. If you don’t have a pet friend in your life and you aren’t happy. Well, that says a lot.
