Time to take in the yummy goodness of freshly bloomed flowers and green trees! This is a wonderful time of year and also a time for my daughter’s birthday. It’s also time to get the duster out and start cleaning lol.. and to open up all the windows and let the scent of the season flow into your home. My daughter counted to 10 tonight. She counts the sit ups that her father does, she will say 1 and then he repeats after her and she would correctly say the number that followed! It was awesome.
I hope everyone has a fun St. Patrick’s Day and remembers to wear green! St Patty’s day is always a fun day, perhaps I will bake some green cookies today. I hope the luck of the Irish is with all of us now and throughout the rest of the year.
My daughter is growing up so quick. The potty training thing is still going really well and she’s pretty much trained. I only put a diaper on her when she goes to sleep.. and a pull up when we go out. I think it’s so funny how one day she just felt like being potty trained and became an expert lol She’s also talking very well and I can understand everything she says.. although that’s been going on for a while. She knows the difference between you and me and uses the words “I” and “my” appropriately, in other words she talks in full sentences. She will say things like, “My paper is up there and my crayons are too.” She can name several of the letters on the keyboard, she knows all of her colors and sorta has counting down except she goes something like 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11 lol She is also picking up on some words in Spanish, two languages are always good to know!
Perhaps in another year I’ll be putting her in pre school.. whether she knows most of the things they’ll teach her or not, being around children her age will definitely be good for her and she would definitely enjoy herself.
