Squirrels are one of the cutest little critters around and they are lovely to look at just as long as they aren’t hanging around in our backyards and such! The things they are capable of doing is just mind boggling sometimes, chewing things up and eating up our gardens and bird feeder seeds. One of the problems that I have had in the past was that they would come and eat my dog’s food and if I stored the bag of dog food outside or in the garage, they have even chewed holes through the bag! These little animals can sometimes even eat as much as owning a second dog and I would go through a lot of extra dog food. They are just great at creating messes and sometimes it is hard to decide on what to do about this problem.

It’s pretty interesting that Greek archaeologists have just discovered some puzzling ancient treasure. Initially, they took this large copper vase for a land mine and it was buried with bones somewhere in northern Greece. The reason this discovery is so amazing is because a gold wreath is rare and mainly were buried with royalty or ancient nobles and the area where they found this was the capital of ancient Macedonia, where King Philip II, father of Alexander the Great was assassinated.
They say that it looks as though the artifacts had been moved from one grave, to another and that they are unsure as to why. These finds are dated back to about 4th century B.C., wow! Findings like this make me want to get involved in archaeology so that I can find some awesome things and contribute to history. I know it would take a lot of patience and time but I’m sure it would be worth it.

Over the years when my brother and I were growing up my grandma collected almost the entire Disney collection for us. Now we are older and there is no one to watch them so my grandma told me to borrow as many of the movies as I want for my kids to watch. I have to admit I find myself interested in the movies too because it has been so long since I have seen some of them and they’re fun to watch!
One that I like a lot is Alice in Wonderland, I think it is such a cute movie with the rabbit and Alice. It’s a nice adventure movie and the lyrics are interesteing too, some of the things that Alice says get me thinking hahaThe kitten at the beginning of the movie that Alice has is also very cute. I know in the past I have thought about putting my daughter in pre school when she turned 4 but I actually feel more comfortable waiting for her to start Kindergarten. I would just worry about her way too much and besides she knows most of the things that they would teach her there anyways. She knows her first and last name, she can count to 10 but I hope for her to be able to count to 20 soon, she knows her alphabet, mostly capital letter but still and she knows all of her shapes including things like oval and hexagon and her colors of course and more. She is also able to use the mouse to click and move things on my computer, like dress up games for kids and certain learning games.
I read often to her and she sits there intently listening and she has just recently begun to use scissors (kid scissors) and she does projects with construction paper and things, glue, markers, painting with water colors. She has also improved with coloring, she colors the different parts of the picture instead of just scribbling and she is one of the most vocal kids I know, the things she says shock me sometimes because she just sounds so smart. She is also at the stage where she asks “why?” a lot, she wants to understand how everything works and why it is the way it is. One of the reasons why I was considering putting her into pre school was because my dad thinks everyone should go, but I don’t really agree anymore because she is safer at home.
