I have been feeling pretty rested lately, like instead of struggling just to stand up in the morning, I actually jump out of bed a lot earlier and am ready to start doing things. I have been getting a bit more sleep though and going to bed earlier. I’ve recently realized just how important sleep is, because without it I am like a walking zombie. I think instead of buying a birthday cake for my son’s first birthday, that I am going to make one instead. It kind of seems more special to me and would be fun as well. I think I want to make him a colorful cake with little candies mixed in and then get some cute little bear decorations for the top that go with that theme I am still planning on using. The most I’m gonna do with that theme is probably just buy a banner and a table cloth. Making the cake would save money as well, so that the money can be spent on something like his gifts.
I’m looking forward to his party and can’t wait to enjoy it with him, it is going to be so cute! Time flies also, so it should be here in no time at all. Since my boyfriends birthday is like 2 days before his I’m wondering if I should have their birthdays together or just separate. I’m not really sure because it seems like a first birthday should be on it’s own day, well whatever I decide I’m sure it will work out just fine!!

Well today was my daughter’s follow up check up for her eyes and I guess it didn’t go that well. She just doesnt really want to follow along with the tests they want to do on her, like covering one eye at a time to ask her what she can see. She pretty much causes a scene and they aren’t able to help so much. Her glasses do help her though but now they want us to try something else. She is supposed to go back in another 6 weeks, but at this point it kind of seems unnecessary, but I will take her because they want to see how she is responding to the new treatment.
Hopefully she will be more cooperative next time. If she were older she could just go to any eye doctor and answer the questions but right now we need to go here, even though I don’t really like the place too much. Oh well, we will see what happens.
