I’ve been pretty busy lately with the different birthdays and other things going on. It has been pretty fun lately but I just haven’t had the time to get on here and write about any of it. My son’s birthday went really well, he enjoyed his first cake and got many great gifts. The new toys/books and things have been keeping both my son and his sister very busy because apparently my daughter loves baby toys too lol It’s okay though, she has been pretty helpful. She helped her brother open his gifts and has shown him how the toys work.
Just before that was my boyfriend’s birthday and it went pretty good too and we ate a nice dinner together. He doesn’t really seem any older but neither does my son, although I still can’t believe he is 1 year old. He is getting new teeth in like crazy right now. Both the top and bottom lateral incisors are coming in now, so he almost has 8 teeth now. I took tons of pictures of my son’s birthday so I am glad we will all be able to cherish his first birthday forever. In two days is is his 1 year check up and I will write about that later when I find out his weight and height measurements. He will also be getting a few shots =( I’m sure everything will go fine as usual and that he is healthy. Check back later!
I have been considering going to Sea World for a while now, they have live shows with dolphins, whales, seals and other sea life. It is a huge park with hands on experiences and I’m sure the kids would love it. It’s about a 2 hour drive to San Diego though but it is a pretty nice area plus I like long drives as long as the person I’m driving with doesn’t make me car sick. This is definitely a trip we have to make that I am looking forward to.
Dolphins are such wonderful creatures and it is amazing what they can be taught to do, same goes for most of the other animals they keep. I’m even considering going to the San Diego Zoo while we are over in the area, we’d have to stay for the weekend or something because the San Diego Zoo is so huge that you can’t see the whole thing in one day, maybe we could if we got one one of the tram things. It is sort of sucky for the animals that they are locked up but hey they have an easy life and kids get to learn from them!
Over the years when my brother and I were growing up my grandma collected almost the entire Disney collection for us. Now we are older and there is no one to watch them so my grandma told me to borrow as many of the movies as I want for my kids to watch. I have to admit I find myself interested in the movies too because it has been so long since I have seen some of them and they’re fun to watch!
One that I like a lot is Alice in Wonderland, I think it is such a cute movie with the rabbit and Alice. It’s a nice adventure movie and the lyrics are interesteing too, some of the things that Alice says get me thinking hahaThe kitten at the beginning of the movie that Alice has is also very cute. Here is a cute little song from the movie if you haven’t had the pleasure of watching it for yourself.

It is designed from a very aesthetic point of view, making the control buttons very simple to understand as well as making it easy to tune your HD Radio.
Overall, you get an awesome product for the price you pay and it is actually pretty easy to understand compared to other competitors with more expensive prices. It includes AV cables and dual alarms. I am pretty sure that almost anyone would be happy with this purchase, everyone I know who has gotten this product has had nothing but good things to say about it. Get an HD Radio and listen to all of the new music stations out there that you never knew existed!
I have been browsing birthday themes online at Party City and I haven’t come across any baby Mickey themes, sadly. I might have to find another website and see if they have one but I actually found a really cute theme for a baby boy’s first birthday! (view picture of the plate above)
If anything, I might just end up using this. It is so cute with the little bear and rocket ship and I think anything blue and yellow would go really well with this, like balloons and such. I still have a mixed pack of different color balloons left from other birthdays I’ve thrown. I’m not sure if I’m going to make a cake or order one but either way I’m sure I could find something cute that goes with the little bear and rocket. It’s just adorable!
Last Chaos is a pretty awesome game where you can play online with many other people. You create a character, do quests, collect interesting armor, weapons and you level up. The scenery is pretty nice too look at and provides a nice environment. Although many games like this require a monthly fee, this one does not. They make their money when you buy extra stuff even though the extra stuff is not very necessary.
Even though I don’t get much time to myself in order to play the game, I sometimes play at night once the kids have settled down and gone to sleep and it is pretty fun! Right now I have a Healer, I use bows and can heal friends that I am playing with. She looks pretty cool and I can’t wait to find some neat items for her. I just started playing this recently so we’ll see how it goes.
I have always loved Halloween, it is such a fun holiday to me. Now that I have two children it has become even more fun since I get to dress them both in adorable Costumes every year. With Halloween coming up pretty soon I have been looking around and thinking about what I might want to dress them as, although my daughter is actually old enough now that she may actually be able to pick out her own.
I was looking at Incostume.com and they have such adorable kids costumes! They have things ranging from my daughter’s favorite character to some cute little animals. I was thinking of dressing my son up as Eeyore or some other cute little animal and I am sure my daughter would love to be one of the little princesses that they have. Last year my daughter went as Little Red Riding Hood and even had the cape and basket to match! She had a lot of fun and was able to collect her own candy. Even though my son was too young to get any candy we still dressed him up as a lion and he slept in his stroller the entire time. It was a blast and I am sure this year will be too, I can’t wait to take tons of new pictures of them in their new costumes!
