My daughter enjoyed saying “trick or treat” at the doors and felt really proud of the candy she earned. Of course the second we got home I had to go and check each piece to make sure it looked safe and then monitor her intake = ) As we all know, most parents help with the intake part anyways hehe My son wasn’t too sure what was going on but he looked cute in his little pumpkin outfit and enjoyed looking around..

Last time I wrote I also mentioned my daughter needed to get her flu shot still and she did but she wasn’t happy about it at all! This was the first time where she actually started to scream before they even touched her with it. It made me feel bad and I’m not looking forward to any future shots but I will just have to give her a pep talk the next time so she’s more comfortable..

Just before that was my boyfriend’s birthday and it went pretty good too and we ate a nice dinner together. He doesn’t really seem any older but neither does my son, although I still can’t believe he is 1 year old. He is getting new teeth in like crazy right now. Both the top and bottom lateral incisors are coming in now, so he almost has 8 teeth now. I took tons of pictures of my son’s birthday so I am glad we will all be able to cherish his first birthday forever. In two days is is his 1 year check up and I will write about that later when I find out his weight and height measurements. He will also be getting a few shots =( I’m sure everything will go fine as usual and that he is healthy. Check back later!

I found a really cute Lady Bug costume that comes with the cute red dress, wings, wand, shoe puffs and head bopper. This costume is a little bit more expensive than some of the others so I may consider something else later. If i decide not to get her the lady bug then I will probably get the Pumpkin Fairy which comes with the wings, headpiece and dress. Looking around at different Halloween Costume Stores around this time of year is always fun because my children look adorable in their costumes and they just love Halloween! My daughter loves dressing up and collecting free candy while my son loves to look at all of the decorations that are up. My daughter is learning to ride her bike better and better.. she only has problems when she tries to ride uphill. But she has the whole idea down about left foot, right foot, left foot.
