Age Of Conan

Posted by Fallon in Uncategorized on September 15th, 2008 |  No Comments »

Age of Conan is the newest MMO game that I currently play. It turned out to be quite worth the buy, and I’m very glad we got it. You are able to make very detailed male or female characters. You can customize every facial feature. The only thing that is annoying about it is that they have to shut off the servers to update the game  one a week since they are still fixing many bugs.

Although I can’t get as far into the game as many others have, I still like it. I only get the chance to play for a little bit at night, which is the worst time really because that is when they shut down the servers. The best part of all is that my boyfriend and I get to play together. It’s like a whole other world that we get to run around in together, collecting items, doing quests and just leveling up. Very fun!

Credit Card Processing

When it comes to ordering merchandise online, credit card processing is a must for any serious business. If I visit a website and they do not offer credit card processing, I usually do not buy from them since I use my credit card for most of what I buy including things that aren’t even online. If a business needs credit card processing they should get theirs from OnlineCheck.com. Their eCommerce merchant account is truly a great deal. You get a 30 day free trial, no setup fees, no annual fee, no cancellation fees and since you pay monthly there are no early termination fees. All this with a low per transaction rate. If you are setting up an eCommerce business, you should check out OnlineCheck.com, you may like what you see!

Sea World in San Diego

Posted by Fallon in Animals/Pets, Fun on September 12th, 2008 |  No Comments »

I have been considering going to Sea World for a while now, they have live shows with dolphins, whales, seals and other sea life. It is a huge park with hands on experiences and I’m sure the kids would love it. It’s about a 2 hour drive to San Diego though but it is a pretty nice area plus I like long drives as long as the person I’m driving with doesn’t make me car sick. This is definitely a trip we have to make that I am looking forward to.

Dolphins are such wonderful creatures and it is amazing what they can be taught to do, same goes for most of the other animals they keep. I’m even considering going to the San Diego Zoo while we are over in the area, we’d have to stay for the weekend or something because the San Diego Zoo is so huge that you can’t see the whole thing in one day, maybe we could if we got one one of the tram things. It is sort of sucky for the animals that they are locked up but hey they have an easy life and kids get to learn from them!

Nannies and Babysitters

I recently signed up at nannies4hire.com and babysitters4hire.com just to see what type of jobs were available and what the parents were looking for. I think it would be fun to take care of other kids and give my children other kids to play with. I stay home and take care of my kids anyways, so why not watch a few extra? I actually got a text message yesterday from a mom asking if I was still interested in a position but I haven’t responded yet.

I guess I’m just going to think about it a little more before I decide what to do but if I do get a job I would much rather watch the children from my home instead of going over to their house. I am also more interested in watching children age 5 and under because that is just a fun age group but I’d probably be willing to watch older children as well. This does seem like a nice way to earn extra cash as well as something fun to do so we will see what happens.

Software As A Service solves IT department costs

Posted by Fallon in Computers and Internet on September 11th, 2008 |  No Comments »

Today businesses spend a fortune buying, configuring, and setting up server hardware and software combinations. They need to hire competent IT department employees to further do the daunting task of keeping these servers updated and in working order. Should businesses really add this kind of strain to their bottom line?

The most cost effective, burden free solution would be to simply rent the equipment and software the same way someone would rent a server for web hosting. Software As A Service has revolutionized the need for renting a reliable, easy to setup platform that can be accessed anywhere by any member of the company. Phase 2 International offers a wide range of hosted solutions for businesses ranging from 1 to 500 employees including Microsoft Team Foundation Server. For companies who want to simplify the development with Visual Studio, team foundation server hosting is the way to go. The software as a service tfs offered by Phase 2 International is the lowest in the industry without any costly setup fees.

Phase 2 International also provides free training and support included with your tfs hosting If you think you need a hosted solution to save on time, money with the scalability of enterprise solutions, Phase 2 International should be your first choice.
